One of the more surprising elements of last night's finale for The Walking Dead was that David Morrissey's The Governor ended up surviving the ordeal. Hopping in a truck with his buddies, he drove away to fight another day, and The Hollywood Reporter says that Morrissey will indeed be back in the fourth season of the show as a series regular.
"He could die in the next episode," said The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. "This is The Walking Dead; you never know."

We're less than a week away from the debut of NBC's new series Hannibal and five more images have been revealed - these are in addition to this nasty bit o' business we showed you earlier. The pics are images from episodes one and two. Check 'em out inside and read our review right here.
The series looks at the early days of FBI agent Will Graham's career and the time when he worked alongside Hannibal Lecter - naturally, before Graham realized Lecter was a cannibal. It appears the series is taking a few creative liberties, picking up with Graham being drawn back into the FBI game, which is where we saw him in Red Dragon/Manhunter, but in that book/film, Lecter had already been capture and Will was mentally exhausted/scarred by his time in the field.

Over the course of her 30-year career, producer Gale Anne Hurd has been involved with many fan favorite genre properties from Terminator to Marvel's Hulk and The Punisher, but few could have seen that only her second foray into television as executive producer of an AMC TV show - based on Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's zombie comic The Walking Dead - would overshadow some of her previous achievements as a producer.
This coming Sunday, March 31st, season three of the show will come to a close. This season brought in popular comic characters like Michonne and The Governor while creating a season-long conflict between the inhabitants of the prison and those of Woodbury.
ShockTillYouDrop.com used this opportunity to get on the phone with Hurd for a quick interview, mostly to talk about things that have happened over the past two seasons since we last spoke.

Actor Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) took to Twitter to post his Vine video (how social networking savvy he is!) from the set of Under the Dome, the Stephen King adaptation. While, sure, there are images of split cows (when the dome comes down, no animal is spared) in the video, but the news here is that there's a shot of Jeff Fahey!
Yes, it looks like the actor - who appeared in The Lawnmower Man, Lost and Psycho III - is back in King territory. Judging by the costume, it looks like he's a cop in this tale. Chad Vogel, Jolene Purdy, Nicholas Strong, Britt Robertson, Aisha Hinds, Alex Koch, Natalie Martinez and Colin Ford also star.
Norris plays Big Jim Renny, the troublemaker of the novel. Under the Dome, a 13-part series, kicks off on June 24th on CBS. The video is inside. You'll find cows, burning plane wreckage, Vogel and more.

The latest trailer for Hemlock Grove - the new Netflix original series hitting April 19th - has hit the web and, well, I didn't expect this. Then again, I never read the source material it is based upon (a novel by Brian McGreevy). There's a werewolf or some sort of monster in this mix of melodrama, but you won't see it here. Podcasting is a tricky thing and up until 2011 or so I made a concentrated effort to dig into the medium as an extension of the work I do here. A podcast called "Shock Waves" - a joint effort between myself and Lawrence Raffel at FEARnet - was born of that and it had a good run. But as things are wont to do in entertainment, changes occurred.
The folks at GeekNation (longtime friends of ours) were reaching out to some really good folks in horror (Fangoria, FEARnet, Icons of Fright) to assist in horror-themed podcasts. Their longest running, weekly podcast, appropriately called "The BloodCast," was seeing its host - C.J. Arabia - step down and she needed someone to take over. So, yours truly stepped in. The BloodCast's 29th episode is a "passing of the torch" entry and you can now listen to it inside. We explain what the podcast will focus on (mostly "horror on TV") and more. Give it a listen and we hope you dig it...
