Fans of The Hamiltons - from the Butcher Brothers - will want to head inside for an exclusive clip to the anticipated follow-up, The Thompsons.
The sequel is making its VOD debut on November 22nd and is due to arrive on Blu-ray and DVD January 1, 2013.
In the sequel, a bloodbath at a gas station in the desert puts the Hamilton vampire family on the run, eventually seeing them resurface in the U.K. under a new identity as "The Thompsons." Desperate for protection in this unfamiliar country, the Thompsons seek out the help of a shadowy underground rumored to be sympathetic to vampires.
The original cast are reprising their roles, with Cory Knauf, Samuel Childs, Mackenzie Firgens and Joseph McKelheer being joined by newcomer Ryan Hartwig as the youngest sibling "Lenny."

XLrator Media has announced that The Hamiltons follow-up, The Thompsons, will be making a VOD debut on November 22nd with a DVD release to follow on January 1st

Outpost: Black Sun, The Thompsons Get DVD Release Dates
Xlrator has announced the first title to be released under its Screamfest banner, Outpost: Black Sun, is going to get a DVD release on November 6th. Meanwhile, another Xlrator debut, The Thompsons, will street on December 31st.
In Outpost: Black Sun - a sequel to Outpost starring Dexter's Ray Stevenson - he year is 1945, the closing stages of WW2, and a German scientist by the name of Klausener is working on a frightening new technology that has the power to create an immortal Nazi army.
Flash forward to present day, and a NATO task force is hurriedly deployed to Eastern Europe, where a sinister enemy appears to be mercilessly killing everything in its path.
Outpost: Black Sun, Thale and The Thompsons Land U.S. Distribution
XLrator Media, LLC announced the launch of "Screamfest" and "Macabre" multi-platform releasing labels to bring the best in horror and genre films to North American audiences.
The labels will showcase thrilling new horror visions from American and international filmmakers.
The first films set for release under the Screamfest banner will be zombie actioner Outpost: Black Sun - the sequel to Outpost - and the Norwegian thriller Thale, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and recently screened at Screamfest Horror Film Festival.
Based on actual accounts and events, the video conspiracy document Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes (opening in limited release today) and the vampire tale The Thompsons will be the first releases under the Macabre banner.
