At the beginning of this month, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) welcomed an exhibit that look at the works of Stanley Kubrick. Much like the Tim Burton museum exhibit that toured the world, LACMA's Kubrick presentation features props, photos, posters, concept art, notes and more from the director's career.
From the museum's description: By featuring this legendary film auteur and his oeuvre as the focus of his first retrospective in the context of an art museum, the exhibition reevaluates how we define the artist in the 21st century, and simultaneously expands upon LACMA’s commitment to exploring the intersection of art and film.
Naturally, ShockTillYouDrop.com had to drop in to see what was on display from The Shining and A Clockwork Orange, but I was equally excited to check out items from Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket, Lolita and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Camera was in hand, dear reader, and I gathered up a little photo gallery for you.
