Shock Video Interview: Adelaide Clemens & Kit Harington on Silent Hill: Revelation 3D
Perri Nemiroff
Wednesday, October 24, 2012
It ain't easy striking up a relationship in Silent Hill, and not only do Adelaide Clemens and Kit Harington have to run through the land of bloody bunnies, nonstop falling ash and creepy nurses while fostering a budding relationship, they've got to be downright horrified, too.
Six years after the events of the first film, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D brings back little Sharon, now 18 and calling herself Heather (Clemens). Since her return, Heather and her father, Christopher, now going by the name Harry (Sean Bean), are constantly on the run, settling in a new town every time the past creeps too close. Making friends isn't really an option when you're the new girl at school, have a bit of an attitude and are constantly having nightmarish visions, but lucky for Heather, another newcomer, Vincent (Harington), takes a liking to her and stands by her side when she heads home to find her house ransacked, her father missing and this bloody message on the wall – "Come to Silent Hill."
With Silent Hill: Revelation 3D due in theaters on October 26th (early screenings begins October 25th at 10pm), Clemens and Harington took the time to sit down and discuss romance Silent Hill style, their Sean Bean daddy complexes, hopes of returning to Silent Hill and much more.
Check it all out in the video interview after the jump.

Shock Video Interview: Director Michael J. Bassett on Silent Hill: Revelation
Edward Douglas
Monday, October 22, 2012
Back in 2006, the first movie based on Konami's popular horror-based game Silent Hill hit theaters, giving fans some idea what it might be like to visit the foggy dimension. It's taken nearly six years for a sequel to hit theaters with Silent Hill: Revelation, directed by Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane), which gives fans the chance to step straight into Silent Hill thanks to the 3D technology used to film this one.
"Revelation" stars Australian actress Adelaide Clemens as Heather Mason, a popular character from the third game, but here that name is the alter-ego for the daughter of Sean Bean's character from the first movie, as they've been traveling around the country trying to stay one step ahead of the agents of Silent Hill, who want to take her back. At Heather's new school, she meets Vincent, played by Kit Harington, known for playing Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones," and the two of them find themselves on the run from Silent Hill's fantastical creatures.
Bassett, who also wrote the script, took lots of stuff from the games, particularly "Silent Hill 3," which is why we finally get to see Leonard and Claudia Wolf, played by Malcolm McDowell and Carrie-Ann Moss, although in slightly different incarnations.

Official Release: Silent Hill Is Creeping Up on Halloween Horror Nights
Ryan Turek
Monday, July 16, 2012
This fall, the demented multiverse of the popular horror video game and motion picture franchise, Silent Hill, will come to life in a haunted maze at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights events.
This is not a game. This is not a movie. This is real. And guests will be tormented by horrifying creatures from an alternate dimension, including the iconic deformed nurses and the executioner.
Konami’s ground-breaking Silent Hill series is heralded for its psychologically-charged, horrific plot, which is centered around the disturbing, ash-covered town of Silent Hill – a place where reality gives way to other dimensions. In this demonic world the physical laws of nature no longer apply and nightmarish monsters abound. Characters try to escape back to the safety of reality but constant brutal attacks by disjointed, knife-wielding beings make survival seem impossible.
