Vin Diesel has shared a brand-new photo from the set of Riddick on his Facebook page and you can check it out after the break.

"A still from the Riddick set this year," the actor writes. "We are in post and I can't tell you how excited I am to see it manifest. You all were such a part of it becoming a reality... willed it into being, so to speak... Filming Fast this summer is going to be incredible, haha... Thank you again for the opportunity to make magic."

Vin Diesel is continuing to give his fans early looks at Riddick and has today posted this photo of a creature from writer/director David Twohy's third installment, which also stars Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson.

Vin Diesel has, through his self-run Facebook page, posted another photo from the set of Riddick, which is currently filming in Montreal. 

Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson co-star in the film, written and directed by David Twohy.

In Riddick, the infamous title character has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

In the film, written and directed by David Twohy, the infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy.

Written and directed by David Twohy, the Universal release also stars Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dave Bautista is set to star in Riddick, now shooting in Montreal with Vin Diesel and writer-director David Twohy.

Bautista - a WWE vet - plays a character named "Diaz" in the film.  He'll join previously announced cast members Katee Sackoff, Jordi Molla, Nolan Funk, Karl Urban, Matt Nable, David Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo and Bokeem Woodbine.

Another photo from Riddick has arrived.  The fourth image from the production since Vin Diesel began shooting in Montreal with writer-director David Twohy.  The pic comes on the heels of yesterday's official announcement which revealed the full cast and plot details (click the link for more and head inside for more Riddick action).

Official details have been released for Riddick, which is currently shooting in Montreal for One Race Films and Radar Pictures.

The latest chapter of the saga that began with 2000's hit sci-fi film Pitch Black and 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick reunites writer/director David Twohy and star Vin Diesel (the Fast and Furious franchise).  Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy.

Vin Diesel keeps the Riddick love flowing through his Facebook page, posting yet another image from the third film in the series.

The actor writes, "First time I posted about Riddick was back in 2009, Facebook was fresh...  They were asking me to come to the headquarters to talk about this new concept of communicating with fans. I was proud to lead that wave, yet all I was doing, was opening up about my passion - film.  So this picture of our 2012 production of Riddick, is a cool victory for all of us... it shows that studios can be influenced by your voice."

Vin Diesel has released a second behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the latest Riddick film, now shooting under the direction of David Twohy.

The actors writes, via his Facebook page, "Being king has it's perks... yet an alpha Furyan, must return to his primitive state... that animal side."  Katee Sackoff, Jordi Molla and Nolan Funk co-star in the film.
