We don't know very much about what to expect in the upcoming Jurassic Park 4, but one thing we can guarantee is Velociraptors and a T-Rex or two.
A new feature in USA Today, however, teased that a brand new set of teeth will be appearing in the film as well. "I can't actually tell you who that will be," said paleontologist Jack Horner, who served as technical advisor for the previous "Jurassic Park" films and will consult on the new film. "But you'll want to keep the lights on after you see this movie." Any guesses about what it will be? What scary dinosaurs have they not resurrected?

Although a new dinosaur adventure will be hitting theaters on June 13, 2014 with Jurassic Park IV, it appears that one key member of the franchise's creative team won't be returning. Kathleen Kennedy will not be back as a producer as she's now busy overseeing the cinematic future of the Star Wars universe as co-chairman of Lucasfilm.
"No," Frank Marshall, Kennedy's husband and producing partner writes on Twitter. "Ms. Kennedy has moved onto Star Wars and will not be producing JP4. She's traded raptors for TIE fighters."

Presently, the word is now is that Steven Spielberg will produce. However, now that he is free due to Robopocalypse's delay, we can always speculate he might direct. We have a call in to our Universal reps about this.

Jurassic Park 4 is going to be a reality. And the story of its development is going to be worthy of a book some day.
Currently, a new script is being written, but there was a time when a script by John Sayles was being kicked around. His vision took things into drastic new territory involving dinosaurs equipped with weapons and human-dino hybrids.
Needless to say, this script was dismissed after rightfully being trashed on Ain't It Cool News. Badass Digest culled - from Reddit - a slew of concept art that is based on Sayles' Jurassic Park 4. The fact that the script got so far in development as to having concept art commissioned hurts my soul a little bit. Not that that art - by Carlos Huante - is terrible, it's that the idea is just ridiculous within the confines of the Jurassic Park universe. I've pulled some of my favorite pieces of art within.
They remind me of something Kevin Eastman (of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) illustrated for me at a convention in the late '80s. He was tinkering around with a comic book called "DinoCommandos" or something like that...

Jurassic Park 4 is coming, it's just a matter of when. The studio wants it. The sequel is being written. So, how's it coming along? Producer Kathleen Kennedy provided the press with a
Back in 2008, it did not sound like part four was going to fly when Kennedy told us this: "You know, when [Michael] Crichton passed away, I sorta felt maybe that's it. Maybe that's a sign that we don't mess with it."
Things have chanced over the years, however, and both Kennedy, producer Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg thought it would be best to dust off the dino-fueled franchise. Rise of the Planet of the Apes' Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver are currently penning the script. Head inside to read what Kennedy is saying now.

Any update about Jurassic Park 4 is fit for print in my book, however brief or trivial that update might be.
Today, we've got producer Frank Marshall speaking to Vulture about the sequel, but first, a recap.
You might recall the film made headlines last month when writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver were brought aboard to pen the script. They gave us Rise of the Planet of the Apes, so yes, I think that's a fairly good move to hire them.
Then there was word that we will likely see the sequel within the next two years (likely 2014).

Steven Spielberg previously told us that Jurassic Park 4 is on his upcoming schedule, making us believe that he would return to the director's chair. But that's not the case.
He told Collider that he wasn't ready to talk about the fourth installment yet, "but I can tell you that I’m not directing it. I’m producing it though.”
Spielberg added that he will likely start directing Robopocalypse in September and that Peter Jackson will be directing the motion capture for the sequel to The Adventures of Tintin still this year.

It's been over ten years since Jurassic Park 3 hit theaters and with rumblings of them finally getting around to doing Jurassic Park 4, something hinted at by original director and producer Steven Spielberg at this year's Comic-Con, fans of the successful franchise and dinosaur enthusiasts have been itching for any good news that it really was going to happen this time.
At today's junket for The Adventures of Tintin, ComingSoon.net and ShockTillYouDrop.com sat down with Spielberg for four glorious minutes of questions about his adaptation of Hergé's globe-trotting adventurer and we tried to quickly get in a question about their progress on Jurassic Park 4.
