The "Untitled James Wan Thriller" - also known as House of Horror - is a few days out from rolling cameras in Louisiana and THR is reporting Cody Horn will co-star. Maria Bello, Frank Grillo and Scott Mechlowicz also star.
Scott Mechlowicz has been cast in the untitled James Wan-produced horror film that was formerly known as House of Horror. The actor has appeared in Mean Creek, Peaceful Warrior and Eden. In his latest production, he'll join Maria Bello and Frank Grillo. Shooting begins soon under the direction of Will Canon.
The "Untitled James Wan Presents Thriller" - formerly known as House of Horror - is adding another cast member to the roster: Frank Grillo. Variety says he'll co-star alongside Maria Bello, who was confirmed to star last November.
Grillo starred in last year's The Grey and he'll be suiting up soon to star on Captain America: Winter Soldier as the bad-ass known as Crossbones.
This is also the first we're hearing of a director since Xavier Gens parted ways with the project. Apparently, Will Canon (Brotherhood) will helm.
Dimension Films confirmed today that Maria Bello will star in a supernatural thriller which James Wan will produce. The project was formerly known as House of Horror and Bello's involvement stretches as far back as April.
The film is now being referred to as "The Untitled James Wan Presents Thriller" until it takes a new monikor. Wan is producing alongside Beautiful Boy's Lee Clay.
Max La Bella penned the script from an original idea of Wan’s. Shooting begins January 2013 in Baton Rouge, LA and the film will be released by Dimension Films.

A few changes are occuring at House of Horror, the supernatural thriller produced by James Wan (Insidious). Yes, the flick - penned by Max La Bella - is still in development under Wan's guidance, even though he's busy at work on The Warren Files and looking ahead at Insidious 2. But this "house" is going to get built with some new faces involved.
