Animated Beasts of Burden Film Gets Director
Shane Acker is set to direct Beasts of Burden, the animated film based on the Dark Horse comic book of the same name.
Acker directed the 2009 film 9; he'll be helming Beasts for Reel FX, says The Wrap.
Created by Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson, the first Beasts of Burden tale was released in 2009 and told the story of a gang of dogs and cats that team up to protect their owners from supernatural threats.
