Before the trailer drops on all of us tomorrow (Monday), CBS previewed the very first footage from Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.  See Abe as an axe-swinging, bloodsucker-killing bad-ass now and stay tuned for coverage from Shock's recent trip to Springfield, Illinois where we spoke to star Benjamin Walker, director Timur Bekmambetove and writer Seth Grahame-Smith.

Opening June 22, The film explores the secret life of our greatest president, and the untold history that shaped our nation. As a young boy, Abraham Lincoln witnesses the shocking death of his mother, leading him on a path to an ongoing war - and ultimately to the presidency - he chronicles in a hidden diary. The journal reveals the incredible story of a clandestine warrior who never stopped fighting for the country he led and the people he loved.

Entertainment Weekly has premiere two new images from the upcoming horror movie Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which is based on the book of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith.  The images show Abe in his younger years, then as the bearded iconic President we've come to know and  more.

The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly features a brand new still from Timur Bekmambetov's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and it's now online courtesy of a scan by Upcoming Horror Movies.

Scheduled to hit theaters on June 22, 2012, the big screen adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith book stars Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Robin McLeavy, Alan Tudyk and Rufus Sewell.
