Chiller Films’ next original film, The Monkey’s Paw, is making its way to the small screen on October 8th and IndieWire has premiered both the trailer and one-sheet.
Husk director Brett Simmons directed this take on W.W. Jacobs’ classic tale.
The film centers on Jake Tilton (Thomason), who acquires a mystical “monkey’s paw” talisman that grants its possessor three wishes and finds his world upside down after his first two wishes result in his co-worker Tony Cobb (Lang) being resurrected from the dead. When Cobb pressures Jake into using hte final wish to reunite Cobb with his son, his intimidation quickly escalates intoo relentless murder — forcing Jake to outwit his psychotic friend and save his remaining loved ones.

In addition to Beneath, arriving this July, and The Monkey’s Paw, now complete, Chiller is prepping two new original productions, reports Deadline, including one horror film to be executive produced by Drew Barrymore and another from the director of Remains.
