With Pompeii behind him, Paul W.S. Anderson is going to work on the sixth and reportedly final chapter in the Resident Evil franchise. While there have been plenty of rumors and reports about when the next film will start and be released, nothing has been confirmed.
Anderson, however, recently spoke at the Beijing International Film Festival and CCTV quoted him on a few relevant pieces of Resident Evil 6 info. Let’s start with the title.

Capcom and Valve announced today the Resident Evil 6 x Left 4 Dead 2 project. This crossover project between two of the interactive entertainment industry’s most respected publishers will see characters from Left 4 Dead 2 featured exclusively in the forthcoming PC version of Resident Evil 6, while enemies from Resident Evil 6 will invade the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2. All content will be made available completely free for fans of either game to access and play.
Resident Evil Revelations returns redefined for release on theXbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Windows PC on May 21st in North America and May 24th in Europe. We’ve got the trailer for you gamers out there.
