The horror-comedy is directed by Colin and Cameron Cairnes and concerns two brothers who use a secret ingredient for their fertilizer business.
There are two horror films about to hit horror fans carrying the moniker Home Sweet Home. The first is a French production directed by David Morley (learn more about that here). The other is an indie film by directed John K.D. Graham starring Alexandra Boylan, Christopher Dempsey, Raquel Cantu and Lorena Segura York.
It appears Image Entertainment has acquired the rights to the latter and will release the film domestically on DVD June 4th.
The story goes like this: Gwen Stevens (Boylan) is at a crossroads in her life and needs a safe, quiet place to get her head together.
Because one more outlet to watch horror is always welcome… Screen Media Ventures, owner of Popcornflix, today announced the launch of FrightPIX.
FrightPIX launches with over 100 feature-length horror films and will be adding 30 additional films each month.
Like Popcornflix, FrightPIX is ad supported and free to the viewer. The new channel boasts a wide range of horror genres, including the Creature Feature, Slasher, Splatter, Zombie, Supernatural, Creepy, Cult, Demon and Gothic categories. The company also announced the launch of a new horror label, Screen Media Darkside.
MirrorTree Productions has unveiled their “pay off” poster for the new thriller Home Sweet Home. The will have its world premiere next week on Friday, August 17th at the Albuquerque Film Festival
Home Sweet Home, directed by John KD Graham, follows Gwen Stevens played by Alexandra Boylan, as she is forced to travel back to her abandoned childhood home, only to discover the house is far from empty. Trapped in the remote desert of New Mexico, Gwen must battle two psychopathic squatters for her home and her life.
The film stars, Alexandra Boylan, Raquel Cantu, Lorena Segura York, and Christopher Dempsey, was shot entirely on location in La Luz and in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
