Platforms will include DVD/Blu-ray, broadcast television, subscription VOD, cable VOD, and digital platforms. Drafthouse Films is a curated brand of provocative, visionary and artfully unusual films new and old from around the world.

E.L. Katz’s feature directorial debut, Cheap Thrills, has been picked up following a successful premiere at SXSW. According to Deadline, Drafthouse Films and Snoot Entertainment purchased the distribution rights to the micro-budget thriller.
There’s a poster design that’s extremely popular right now. Designers love to get a photo of an actor, place them against a single color background, give it a glow, slap a title on the image and then – boom – you’ve got poster art. Comedies love this style (see: 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Identity Thief, et al.)

E.L. Katz is currently shooting a new thriller called Cheap Thrills and he’s brought along Pat Healy and Sara Paxton for the ride. The two actors previously appeared on screen together in Ti West’s The Innkeepers.
