XLrator Takes UK Horror Film Inbred

Alex Chandon's UK horror offering Inbred is making its way to the U.S. via XLrator and, today, the company announced it's giving this title a VOD bow on August 22nd following by a DVD release September 24th. 

When four troubled teens and their social workers take a community service trip to a remote Yorkshire village, a minor incident with some local inbred youths rapidly escalates into a violent, deliriously warped nightmare.

A sequel to Uwe Boll's Seed - Seed 2: The New Breed - is getting ready to roll cameras with Caroline Williams, Christa Campbell, Nick Principe, Jared Demetri Luciano, Manoush, Natalie Scheetz, Annika Strauss and Sarah Hayden.

In the first film, a seemingly undead man is bound and buried alive.  He digs himself back to the surface and seeks bloody vengeance on those who caused him his suffering.

Wesley Snipes' Latest Film Gallowwalks Direct to DVD

In case you had any doubt in your mind whether or not Gallowwalkers would be a DVD release, Lionsgate Home Entertainment is here to confirm that it has picked up the title (which has been on the shelf a bit).

Gallowwalkers arrives on DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet), Digital Download and Video on Demand August 6th.

Picked as an official selection at Film4 Fright Fest, Gallowwalkers stars Wesley Snipes and Kevin Howarth.

The disc will include a "making of" featurette.

The One-Sheet for Jug Face Is Less Juvenile

Inside, you'll find a larger look at the one-sheet for Jug Face, recently acquired by 108 Media.  This is a more traditional one-sheet than the poster that looked like it was drawn by an 8th grader.

Written and directed by Kinkle, Jug Face is the dark story of a demonic power worshipped by an isolated rural community. The monster offers health and protection in exchange for human sacrifices, identified when their faces materialize on ceramic jugs fabricated by an entranced potter. Bloody chaos ensues when the newest victim is hidden from the monster. The ensemble cast features Sean Young, Larry Fessenden, Lauren Ashley Carter, Daniel Manche, and Sean Bridgers.

The film gets a theatrical release this summer.

Lionsgate has revealed, via IGN, a motion poster design for their upcoming I, Frankenstein. Check it out after the break!

Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality.

Over the weekend, NBC revealed that Dracula was returning to the small screen via a new series starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers.  After the jump, you can watch the trailer.  Also, here is the official series crunch direct from the network:

It's the late 19th century, and the mysterious Dracula has arrived in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He's especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night - useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: he hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan... until he becomes infatuated with a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.

Sleepy Hollow to Occupy The Following's Spot on Fox

Kevin Reilly, Chairman, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, today unveiled the FOX primetime slate for the 2013-2014 television season to the national advertising community during its annual Programming Presentation at the Beacon Theatre.

Sleepy Hollow, as we previously reported, made the cut and the show will make its debut this fall.  The show will occupy the Monday night 9pm-10pm slot which was filled by The Following.  That's not to say The Following won't return.  The show has been picked up for a second round and will be back in its usual spot mid-season.

First Cast Member Revealed for The Loch

Loch Ness monster shenanigans are coming via a film called The Loch, which we first brought to your attention a year ago.

At the time, it was revealed The Woman in Black's James Watkins was teaming with Simon Duric to pen a thriller about the Loch Ness monster for Altitude Entertainment.

Duric will make his directorial feature debut and, today, the first cast member was revealed.
