nothing more then a glorified preview of a few of the movies, it reminded me of the boogeyman dvd. which was a disapointment.

There's always one.
It's got 80 freakin' new interviews! As a fan who loves horror related documentaries, I'm looking forward.

Is Warrington Gillette in this? Does he know?

How can it be 30 years when the first one, the original didn't come out till 1980?

I was thinking the same thing cman. My guess is '78 was the point where Cunningham (?) came up with the idea for "Friday the 13th" after the success of "Halloween." If so, it's a marketing fudge. "28 years ago..." doesn't have the same zing as "30 years ago..."

What would you say are Jasons best kills?
Posted by: Doug on December 24, 2008 at 07:07:58
Ico....
It's a toss up between the sleeping bag in part 7, and the face smash in Jason X

I hope Warrington isn't in this.
Most the interviews will be recycled info from the same ole, same ole... then some really good and rare ones. I am more looking forward to the rare BTS footage

Does anyone else think buying this right away is a little premature? I suspect when the new movie is released on DVD there'll be a "special edition" which icludes this film. Guess I'll wait to see the new movie before picking it up...if it sucks I'll pick it up right away, but if it's any good I'll wait and pick them both up as a set.

man this documentaries don't always cover the whole history. I mean seriously are they going do a story on jason X?
Man that film make the predator, look like a clipper cheerleader, yeah that bad.
i put my cash on the remake that coming out next month, cause i like to see what stay true, and what not.
so spend in something that is worth. then seen the history, i m going with the first 3 originals, something to learn of history.

This trailer was yet another disappointment. 80 interviews and we don't get so much as a hint of them? Show us a glimpse of the Jasons! A word from someone? Needless to say, I pre-ordered this a while ago.

Anchor Bay rocks!!

Eh, I already have Crystal Lake Memories and Making Friday the 13th. This will probably be a cliff notes version of those books, with annoying "stylish" editing done in Adobe Premiere.
