What could be more horrible than having an explosive harpoon fired into your guts, then have a ship dragging you backwards trying to drown you, as if you weren't dying fast enough already?
Regardless of the amount of fake blood used, nothing any feature filmmaker can put on screen can be more frightening or revolting than the cruelty, brutality and outright sadism of modern-day whaling. We cannot call ourselves a civilized species until this utterly unnecessary butchery is ancient history.

I dont get you. You can all go make brutal horrormovies that show every little detail and are just frightning, but on the other hand, talking as an ICELANDER if we make one it is unnecessary butchery? Tell me, are any horrormovies necessary? It's our first horrormovie and I think we did a good job, so stop being like that!

All I want to know is when this film will find a North American distributor. I like horror, even splatter-type horror, and have no doubt that an Icelandic film crew can do it just as good as any previous US film crew (if not better).
But, I won't be watching it just for the horror. I'll be watching it to see the gorgeous Icelandic women (grin) ... like this lady:

The trailer looks great, can't wait to see this movie. I have actually walked the decks and corridors of the ship. Whilst working in Iceland as a commercial diver we had a call in a bad storm. A ship had lost it's mooring in the high seas and drifted onto rocks in an Icelandic Fjord. I was part of the rescue team who faced the weather to go out to the boat in a small ribbed craft to attatch tow ropes to a tug and pull the vessel free. The set looked amazing and glad we got her off the rocks to finish the filming.
