French helmer Laurent Briet is finalizing his deal to direct The Strangers 2 for Rogue Pictures. The sequel will mark his feature directorial debut just as The Strangers was director Bryan Bertino's first crack at a studio picture.
Bertino scripted this entry which will, again, focus on three home invaders. He's currently prepping a new film entitled Black for Rogue.
The Strangers 2 is rumored to surround a trailer park. ShockTillYouDrop.com has exclusively learned that the plot plays on a "family dynamic" this time around. It's still up in the air as to whether Liv Tyler's character is alive or dead. That angle is currently being worked out.
Shooting may begin as early as this summer. Get acquainted with Briet at his official site here.
