what guys? are you gonna start complaining? it's not a damm remake, it's a sequel, so what's the problem now? you all piss and moan about remakes and reboots, and now that someone is doing a sequel you all gonna start crying too?

Hades
My problem is that it has a similiar plot to the first one. So, essentially, it's a very loose remake of the first.

So what, this is only straight-2-video trash cheap (around $1 million budget) sequel like many others, nobody wants to see something like that.
And The Cell is very old movie (late summer of 2000), but it's not forgotten, Tarsem is great!

To answer the Headline. No

a sequel, I dont like the cell, its the worst movie ever. Not because it was scary but because it sucks so much. Worst movie I ever seen.

I guess I would have to watch the first one first...

Im not blaming anyone for their opinions. But I think The Cell was visually breathtaking, and a simple plot. I loved it, and I will be looking out for this one.

Posted by: E S on March 9, 2009 at 09:43:27
Tarsem didn't do it, so I don't care.

No Cell 2 for me. The first film could have been resolved in 20 minutes by looking through files and Lopez's character, job, friends, co-workers, and very existence could have been written out completely with no real loss other than pretty pictures and running time. And Lopez (who I refuse to call J Lo no matter what the whore says) could never and never will be able to act.
-"Dude, we got 40 hours to go find this girl or she will drown and DIE!!! Oh No! What will we do?"
--"Dude, let's twiddle our thumbs and deplete our timetable by about half (instead of looking through files) and then go look at Lopez (instead of looking through files). She's wearing the Twizzler suit now! Roooooock!!"
-"Poetry, dude."
**** THE CELL. The film itself is like a cheerleader

anywho, i dont like this, cause really, all we need more are dvd sequels, they are already ruling the world.
