Details on New Moon's Italy Shoot

February 3, 2009
The Twilight sequel New Moon rolls cameras in Vancouver this March.
Shortly after, however, director Chris Weitz and his team are packing up and heading overseas where, according to Variety, the follow-up will "will shoot in the ancient Tuscan city of Volterra in May for two weeks. In Stephenie Meyer's bestselling New Moon tome, Volterra is the town where the powerful Volturi vampire coven reside. Dakota Fanning is reportedly in talks to play a teen Volturi vamp, while Twilightstars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are on board."
In New Moon, Bella Swan is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

I agree. He better not f$*@k this one up. The first one was okay, only kinda followed the book. Because New Moon does not have Edward in it for a good portion, they are thinking of changing up the story. That is bull crap!!! If they do that, the rest of the movies are going to be hard to do. Anyway, I can't wait!!!

I don't think they should change the story of New Moon, just focus on filming more of the scenes that have Edward in them. First the birthday scene, the breakup, the volturi scenes, the proposal and then the vote and finally the end where Jacob gets Bella in trouble with the motorcycle. I think all of these alone will take up a big portion of the movie, and all are important parts in the book. If they want they can also add where Rosalie calls Edward to tell him Bella is dead. Which leads Edward to call Bella's house and pose as Carlisle. Therefore, none of the story would be changed, but there would be plenty of Edward, which, let's face it, would make the movie a success. Robert Pattinson's Edward is the reason "twilight" was such a huge success, because people went back for more. Never could have too much Edward !
