New Moon Casting Call in Vancouver?

The folks at Movieset dropped us a line this afternoon directing our attention to a Vancouver Craiglist post which appears to be an open casting call for
New Moon, the werewolf and vampire-populated installment of the
Twilight series directed by Chris Weitz.
The listing does not specify what film it's for, but Movieset speculates, due to the requirements (seeking young Native American types), it may very well be the sequel. And we agree as the follow-up focuses heavily on Bella's relationship with her werewolf boy toy Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), a member of the Quileute tribe.

MAJOR MOTION PICTURE OPEN CALL

9AM to 12 Noon
Aikins/Cossey Casting is conducting a three city search for a Major Motion Picture. We are looking for young FIRST NATIONS/ABORIGINAL ACTORS AND ACTRESSES BETWEEN THE AGES OF 15 and 25. It will shoot in Vancouver starting mid March to the end of May. Experience is not a requirement. If you are male or female, between 15 and 25 years old, are First Nations and interested in a speaking part in a Hollywood release, please consider attending an open call in your area at the following location:

Open Calls will be from 9AM to 12 Noon. Potential candidates will be given script material and asked to return in the afternoon to audition. There is no cost for this Open call and at no time will you be asked to pay for the ability to audition or if you are offered a role. Just show up between 9AM and 12 Noon at the above location.

That is this casting is for girls of the type native american, black-haired woman? The blonde doesn't have of what to search? whether has some chances?

I don't think this is the casting call for New Moon. The native parts are being cast by Rene Haynes. Also, those interested in audoitioning was supposed to email their photo and contact info to info@rhcasting.com, and then they would be sent an application package which needed to be emailed back to the casting agency by January 30. I had friends who tried to get packages on January 23 but they'd closed applications by then. I'm guessing they got enough inquiries at that point.

This is in response to A-truth's rude comment!
I'm not normally one to point out minor details but I thought I'd to reconsider since you were in the business of offending Native people.
#1- The call is in CANADA and for First Nations/Aboriginal actors which is a Canadian term. Native "American" indicates US citizenship.
If you're going to diss people you might want to brush up on your political terminology!
#2- There are plenty of sober and awake Natives at that hour (regardless of citizenship), we are just avoiding people like YOU!

You know Sarah, not to sound rude or anything, but there are reasons why they are casting in the Vancouver area only. That's where they are filming, if they hire people from other places, they have to PAY for those people to travel to Canada.
And the way you phrased "you might find better choices somewhere else" sounds rather cocky. I would be careful with the kind of words you use, especially if you want to get noticed on a good note. The way you say it makes it sound like no one there is "good enough"...

A-Truth, I hope you take that rude remark back. I wish I could be there, I hope my band does give me funding to audition for a role. I am a tall, brunette native. I aspire to model or act. I can sing too.. So that industry is plan A for my career path. :), Does that sound kind of overconceited of me. If it does sorry. I just wish to do a part!
