Abysmal drivel. Unfortunately, it will make money, because of all the Myspace creteenagers that will use their parents' money to finance a sequel via cinema ticket booths. Why do helicopter incidents on movie sets happen to the likes of Vic Morrow rather than to marcus nispel or michael bay?

the only good horror remake ive seen in a while was the texas chainsaw massacre because of its intensity...didnt need ****, booze and cheesy lines to make it scary...this movie is going to be crap just like any other slasher film but ill probably see it on drugs just for the effect

Actually, Mr. Voorhees, the Asian guy and the token black guy don't die first. From what Aaron Yoo and Arlen Escarpeta have said about their characters, they're in for a good amount of minutes before getting killed off. Also, I agree with you that the movie will be totally sweet. Can't wait to see this in theaters.

Kane Hodder is the real Jason from 7 and on. Um, there were real Jason's in Part 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. And an awesome impostor Jason in 5 too!

He's also the shortest Jason.

Captain Arlong - yeah, but understandable, i think horror fans are the most paticular about the little details more than fans of other genres. I mean someone can watch 6 American pie movies, and probably not give a **** about who is in it (unless you are a diehard Eugene Levy fanatic or something), but horror fans are different, they are quicker to judge. Atleast in this example, Jason was never seen or heard, so so long as you got the size, it is pretty easy to pull off the role of Jason (though same can be said about Micheal Myers, and rob zombie did mess that one up, IMO), but try replacing someone Freddy or Pinhead and than I would understand the pessimisim alittle.

djblack1313 - thank you my friend, i guess after some research I would not know as i did not even see One Tree Hill.

oh, and i suppose they are replacing both examples, Freddy & Pinhead. I hope Robert Englund, Doug bradley and Kane Hodder have small roles in there respected remakes (or "re-imagining). I am worried more about the Candyman remake and the talks of the role going to a white actor, if this or true or not I do not know, I will treat it as rumor til I see confirmation on that though.
