Is the "retiring" storyline a budgetary thing? Considering the first one took forever for him to slay anything, I want a whole movie of that! Not when he's giving it up. Give us the in-between the origin and retirement story.

He will likely decide at the end not to retire after all... That's how thiese things generally work.

I'm just curious how many EVIL DEAD "homages" will be made.

The first Jack Brooks movie was one of the best movies released in '08. I'm hoping for a whole series of sequels. All they have to do is keep up th eclever writing, and invent new stuff for him to kill.

The first one was very good. We need more Evil Dead copycats! I am surprized that it took this long. We'll never get Evil dead 4, so I will take what I can get. The only problem I had with Jack Brooks was that you could tell that they were working on a tight budget. With a bigger budget this series could soar!

I loved Jack Brooks:Monster slayer and have it on DVD. Can't wait to see the sequel. hopefully if the sequel does very well, we can get plenty more Jack Brooks sequels which I would take overt the SAW series anyday.
