Following the success of Platinum Dunes' Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, director Jonathan Liebesman flirted with a number of projects including the upcoming Friday the 13th before Marcus Nispel was brought in.
Liebesman ultimately decided to helm The Killing Room by screenwriters Gus Krieger (a newcomer) and Ann Peacock (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). The film was shot in Shreveport, Louisiana with actors Nick Cannon, Clea DuVall, Timothy Hutton, Meade Patton and Chloë Sevigny. And, as reported yesterday, Liebesman's latest - about four folks roped into an extreme psychological research study sanctioned by the government - is a Sundance entry (out of competition).
Four official stills have floated our way to share with you.
