Does anyone else feel that the studios are pushing this 3D stuff on us. It seems that they are desperate to get People asses in the seats. People keep saying that this 3D stuff is catching on but it really isnt because its not like they released one 3D movie and we clamored for another, they just started throwing these 3D movies at us from out of the blue. It seems desperate to me.

Yes. It's a way for them to take mediocre-terrible scripts and add something "fresh" to them. Beowulf was cool in 3-D though.

I could do without the 3-D. But I have wanted to see this movie re-made for quite awhile. I was a great fan of the originals with the body parts in with the boiling hotdogs and the heart in the candy box, and lets not forget the shotgun blast to the head! Classic horror material! I think this can be done well, just don't do a Prom Night on it where it only follows the film in name and nothing else. Keep the original story and creepy tunnels, which by the looks of the last poster just released might be the way they are going.
