Buffy's Brendon Vamps Out in Highway

Xander Harris of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is under the tooth once again, so to speak, in a new indie horror-comedy called Blood on the Highway. Okay, so it's not Xander, but actor Nicholas Brendan does co-star in the film and you can catch a glimpse of him and Tom Towles (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer) in Highway's trailer right here.

Blood on the Highway has been taking a bite out of the film festival circuit all year. Shot in Texas and directed by Barak Epstein and Blair Rowan, the story finds a road-tripping trio who roll into the town of Fate and find it's populated by vampires. When its made known to the inhabitants that fresh meat has arrived, they hole up and prepare for battle.

Man oh man does he ever look like Bruce Campbell!

Why isn't he starring in an Evil Dead sequel? I could so see him (with Bruce and Sam's blessings) weilding the boom stick.

I KNOW that being Ash would definately give him major success.

I loved him in Kitchen Confidential. I've met him a few times on the convention circuit, he's quite a funny guy. I will be checking this out. Hey, anything with vampires immediately gets my look.

He does have a little of the Anthony Hopkins look, but more-so with the Bruce Campbell...never noticed that before...but yeah I see it there/

No, He really looks like ( David Morse ). By the face. And he was really cute when he was a (Vampire ) in ( The Wish ) with black leather jacket.
