This might sound weird but i've been wondering what his legs would look like.
I have to say though, that i'm not looking forward to this movie. Not a fan of the casting (except Hopkins). Not a fan of the make-up (big fan of Rick Baker and Jack pierces original make-up though). Not a fan of the director, and finally i'm not a fan of what i've heard about the story. I'm a big fan of the original and i guess i wanted something closer to the original, not the same but, at least have it set during the same time period as the original. I know they said the same thing about Lon Chaney jr. in the original but i hate the casting of Del Toro in this to. I'll most likely see this but i'm not optimistic, but maybe i'll be surprised (i hope so).

so basically you're an idiot ico.

Ico, the original film did not have a time period. Sure, it was made in the 40's, but there was never any specific giveaway to when it was set. The Victorian era is when Dracula was set, so it's pretty good thinking to bring this film to that era too.
With the old Universal Dracula, they took the novel, and stripped it down to it's bare bones. Since the Wolfman, a bare bones film to begin with, was not based on any one particular source, they're doing the same thing in reverse, adding meat to it, and making it the adaptation of a hypothetical 19th century "Wolfman" novel that never was. How anyone could not be looking forward to this is just...unthinkable, if you ask me.

Dude
"Ico, the original film did not have a time period. Sure, it was made in the 40's, but there was never any specific giveaway to when it was set."
I don't mean to sound like an ass, but...
The original did have a time period. There were cars and Chaneys character was a mechanic in America before going back to England to see his father. There were horse drawn carriages (obviously) because of the gypsies. Like i said before, i'm a big fan of the original and i've read the original script online and it specifically said that the story took place in 1940, the year before it's release.
the guy
How does stating my opinions and concerns about a remake of a movie i've loved my whole life make, me an idiot? I just don't like what i've seen so far.
And to be more specific about my opinion on Benicio Del Toro's casting. I find him to be a boring actor, he rarely does anything new and he always acts the same way in every movie maybe with some minor differences, but in the same time that doesnt really bother me that much, i just think he's not right for this part. One last thing i'd like to say is that i'm not one of those people who hate remakes, they don't bother me, but i'm not enthusiastic about this one.
I'm completely willing to hear other people opinions but to just call me an idiot says alot about you.
