ShockTillYouDrop.com recently enlisted Heather Newgen from our brother site ComingSoon.net to sit down with Paris Hilton and Sarah Brightman. An odd pairing, right? Well, "odd" is what you get in Repo! The Genetic Opera (reviews) where Hilton and Brightman sing their lungs out alongside Alexa Vega, Paul Sorvino, Bill Moseley, Kevin Graham Ogilvie and Anthony Stewart Head. So kick back and watch the interview in the player below. While your at it, read our recently posted exclusive interview with Repo! director Darren Bousman here!

This actually seems really interesting. I absolutely love Sarah Brightman. Her newest cd titled "Symphony" is kick ass. I like the gothic direction of the movie and I think fans of opera are in for a treat.

Proof positive the world is coming to and end when a true talent like Sarah Brightman shares the screen with a no-talent hack like Hilton.
And I'm really honked off because, as a true Brightman fan,..I will have to own this when it comes out which means I will alos have to own a movie with that.....ra..er...slu...er....PERSON in it.
Damn.

HA!
Does this really surprise anyone?
I've seen Sarah Brightman live, and I've seen her talking on TV and its very clear that she is BAT-**** INSANE!

Geez... Darcsyde, just enough already! Is it that hard for you to respect someone and not calling name at the same time? Or, learn from your idol, just sayin'

"She loves attention and will do anything to get it... Which was fun to play...
because it's so different from me."

Has anyone actually watched the clips from this flick? It looks certain to go down as one of the worst movies of the last decade.
Posted by: Lindsey on November 6, 2008 at 01:50:28
Worst movie of the decade? Please.
I'm sorry it's not another remake or book/comic adaptation that you're used to. oh wait, I'm not sorry.
Repo is something new and unique. Give it a chance.

FINALLY...a contemporay classic that you can drop acid to. This should make Ben Lyons Top Ten list for sure!!! I love the way Paris Hilton chooses her projects. Her peers should take note and not just sign on to a job just for a paycheck. It's time to show some artistic integrity and follow her lead. Take a risk or two. Can you say cult classic. This has "drinking game" written all over it!!

its really retarted how this is getting a limited release....there is so much buzz about it and its going on limited release. Such big names and they dumb it down with a limited release...so sad.

While I'm not a Paris Hilton fan, I appreciated the fact she "acted" in this movie vs. continuing to "act" like an immature adult (which she gets paid to do @ every event she attends) .... an I feel if she continues going into a mature direction then it won't be long before most will forget what she did in the past (judge the movie for itself, please. and not just who is in the cast).

I'm actually stoked to see this. I've listened to the CD and I think the music is just fine...

This movie is something that's brilliantly unique. Whether or not that appeals to you is up to you. This is very likely a movie that people will either love or hate with not much of a middle ground.
Those of you putting it down sure are making yourself seem immature by resorting to name calling and insults rather than taking a moment to say why you think it's garbage, regardless of your opinion on it. Your reasons are your own, but at least try not to make it seem like you're just throwing a tantrum.
Paris haters, take a chance and give it a go. You don't have to like her to tough it out and see something like this. You don't know what you'd be missing if you don't ever bother to give something a chance.

My husband took me to go see this movie this weekend. I was sold as soon as he told me the base story. I am a horror fanatic, so the fact that this movie he mentioned was about a company who sales organs and body parts then sends someone to Repo them while you are awake when you are behind in your payments and it is by Twisted Pictures, I was totally in. So we went Saturday night.
Omfg this movie was so good. The fact that the Repo Man ends up being Ghiles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and he could sing like that gave me chills. It is a rock opera but the singing is awesome. Everyone had the voices that matched their character. My husband & I were both shocked to see Ms. Hilton in this movie but the part was so unflattering that she did really well (my eye is twitching saying that) and because this part might be her reality on day (how funny would that be). Anyway if any of you can see it do it and pass this on. I know any horror fan will love it. It was so good and I am totally going to see it again.
