Scream 2008's Friday the 13th Footage

It's the wee hours of the morning as I write this. I've just rolled in from Spike TV's Scream 2008 awards ceremony where actors Jared Padalecki and Amanda Righetti (each incredibly friendly) introduced world premiere footage from
Friday the 13th.
As I suspected, and posted in our comments board in
this story, it was not the teaser rumored to be attached to prints of
Saw V on October 24th. Instead, it was an abbreviated version of the presentation screened by Platinum Dunes at Comic-Con.
Righetti, and her character's boyfriend, are featured entering a dilapidated cabin at Camp Crystal Lake. There they find a candlelit shrine with a hole in the wall which yields a decayed head. Righetti's boyfriend is then suddenly dragged into a hold in the floorboards. Where the footage deviates from the Comic-Con clips is the Scream 2008 piece introduces viewers to the
Friday the 13th logo over a close-up of Jason's hockey mask as it does a slow turn towards the camera. I was told
this will appear in the teaser.
The Scream footage concluded with the shot of Jason Voorhees barreling towards a victim - similar to the leaked Comic-Con video. Scream 2008 airs on Tuesday, October 21st (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT

A bummer, but I guess I'll check it out anyway. The teaser sounds like it'll be even better though, so holding my breath for that.

Ryan, when you say "I was told this will appear in the teaser", do you think the teaser will ONLY be that 'mask turning towards the camera' shot? i hope they include SOMETHING more in the teaser.
i AM bummed that the footage shown last night wasn't different than the SDCC footage, but it makes sense due to the fact that the SDCC footage is technically NOT supposed to be leaked on the web (thanx VERY much to the person who bootlegged it!)

I was their, and I kinda knew what to expect... but never the less, It still looks good!
