Three Clips, TV Spots from Quarantine!

Source:Sony Pictures
October 3, 2008

Sony provided us with three clips from Quarantine (set visit) which opens in theaters October 10th. We have also added three new TV spots which you can watch via this link.

In the film, television reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew's videotape.

Shock caught a screening of the film last night, keep it here for a full review next week!

Clip #1: "A Way Out"

Clip #2: "It's Locked"

This is a integral copy of spanish film named "REC"... But it is a very good film anyway

Does no one else think Sony are releasing FAR TOO MUCH STUFF from this movie! They have given out stills giving away key moments of plot development, and now these scenes.

I went to see [REC] only seeing the spanish trailer, thats it. I didn't need to see loads of pictures and scenes from it first. Yeah i know big action films release lots of stills, but a horror under an hour and a half (presuming they don't lengthen it) they have released just too much.

Stuart, i agree %100. i watched REC online a while back, not having seen ANYTHING from the movie. not seeing a thing from the movie made it a much more intense and surprising experience. Sony is totally giving away far too much info/key happenings etc. FAR TOO MUCH!

Oh ****, an another american remake... Why? [REC] is so good, why a remake???!!!

You know it wont be much longer before we see remakes of Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, Maltese Falcon and Casablanca. They will be updated for the times and be much more terrible. It's all because hollywood wants to make money and remakes make money. Original scripts like Feast, Memento and Death Proof are big risks in hollywood's eyes. So they go with the 'sure thing'. Comic Book Heroes, Disaster movies and the remake of a blockbuster.

We just need new heads of these movie studios that are more open to independant filmakers.

man how disappointing. if only foreign horror would get more publicity in other countries so that people wouldn't have to see the ****ty re-makes. rec was out in australia for about a week and got so few showings at really obscure theatres. lame

Es exactamente igual que Rec, no cambia nada nada todo calcado, asi que para que verla... solo que es mas al estilo Americano, ahora esta de moda hacer remakes de pelis de terror Españolas ¿? antes era de pelis de terror Asiaticas.
It(He,She) is exactly like Rec, does not change not quite at all traced anything, like that that in order that to see her ... only that is mas to the American style, now they make fashionable this one remakes of pelis of terror Spanish women ¿? Before it(he,she) was of pelis of terror Asian.
