Not exactly my favorite story from the BOOKS OF BLOOD collection (I prefer the more overtly supernatural ones) but I'm glad it is this incarnation of the adaptation that is actually happening and not the one scripted by McWeeny for 20th Century Fox a few years ago.

It's about time. How long has it been since there was a Clive Barker Movie? Looking forward to something weird and perhaps gory.

Dread was my favorite of the Books of Blood, actually. Not sure if I'm excited for the Twilight tard to ruin it with what is more than likely bad acting.
And Eschelon, Midnight Meat Train came out earlier this year. That was based on a story from the first Book of Blood.

Dread was the one story to this day that messed up my head. I dear friend of mine is interning with Clive Barker this summer and after speaking with him, I feel Jan. 2010 cannot get here fast enough to see this movie. Plus Jackson Rathbone from previews I have seen of Dread will do just great bringing to life a character I still dread to this day!
