Music video helmer Frank Borin is signed to direct The Butcherhouse Chronicles for Platinum Dunes.

A joint production of Paramount and Bay's production shingle, the script was written by Michael Hidalgo based on his play (first details). Pushing into the haunted house sub-genre, Butcherhouse concerns four teens who uncover the secrets of a notorious malevolent home.

Borin has worked with bands like Good Charlotte and Breaking Benjamin. He's attached to do Kidnapped for Lionsgate, too.
