ShockTillYouDrop.com's Silas Lesnick sat down with Death Race's writer-director Paul Anderson and stars Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson and Natalie Martinez in San Diego's Petco Park (tricked out with the film's deadly vehicles) to candidly talk about the remake.

Opening August 22nd, Death Race follows ex-con Jensen Ames (Statham) who is forced by the warden of a notorious prison (Allen) to compete in a popular televised sport: A car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory.
