This could be a worthy remake. theres some good remakes like 12 angry men. godzilla was very bad.the 2007 remake of halloween was alright. if you want a horror movie then the rob zombie halloween is for you. if you want late 1970's suspence movies than halloween 1978 is for you. All that i'm saying is that i think this could be actually a worthy remake.

It's more of a reboot than a remake. Jason is the killer from the get-go this time around, I'm pretty sure. They're not trying to follow the same story line exactly, but I'm pretty sure they're going to honour it for what made it successful.

making and remaking these movies shouldnt be shunned apon...we have the money and the technology to put a little more oomph.. behind these classics.. yeah they may be classics for a reason.. but now we can make the gore look more realistic and with the lighting.. the music..if the story is told well it can hold it own..i hear they are taking bits and pieces of the first 3 and meshing them together.. acting will probably be the worst part.. i did see the boyfriend character from "house of wax" in it.. glad he dies...

SWEET!! I can't wait for this movie to come out next year. It'll be the perfect Valentine's date ever. I truly believe that this movie will just as great as the original maybe even better.
