NICE! Much better than the red one from before. I hope this one is legit. I love this movie! Too bad Stan Winston didn't direct more. Man, what a way to come out of the gate running.
I really wish someone would bankroll Rick Baker to direct a movie. He could do one at least as good as Punpkinhead.

Pumpkinhead is a great horror movie. It's one of those movies that wasn't too mainstream but has held my (and many others) attention since it came out. Kind of like Puppet Master and Phantasm. This cover does look better than the previously listed one.

Alright movie if you overlook the fact that the monster is so obviously based of of the xenomorph from the alien series. Look at the bodies. And hands. and teeth.

What's the release date?
Posted by: Raptor-Chick on August 13, 2008 at 11:03:35
Well, considering that the great Stan Winston did help create the Xenomorph and that his studio did build the creatures, of course there are similarities! It's not identical in any feature, but perhaps he was inspired. Maybe he got an idea from some of Giger's art? You often see similarities through an artist's work and everything Stan Winston's studio made was art. Gorgeous creatures.
I can't wait to get this movie!
