ShockTillYouDrop.com received over 25 new hi-res images from Paul W.S. Anderson's Death Race this morning. Some of them offer a glimpse of the mystery driver known as "Frankenstein" - a role previously played by David Carradine in the original film and is here essayed by Jason Statham.

Opening August 22nd from Universal, Death takes place in a high security prison where the warden oversees a dangerous televised car race. Statham is a man wrongfully accused of murder who is pushed into the race to gain his freedom. Tyrese Gibson, Joan Allen, Ian McShane and Natalie Martinez star.
