Claudia Karvan Leaps into Daybreakers

According to Moviehole, actress Claudia Karvan is the first female to join the Daybreakers cast.

The Star Wars: Episode III alum (she played Sola Naberrie, in case ya needed to know) is widely known in Australia for her turn in the television series "Love My Way."

In Daybreakers, she'll play a human opposite Ethan Hawke's vampire scientist. They strike up a romantic affair in a world where bloodsuckers are the dominating species.

Sam Neill and Willem Dafoe also star. Shooting on the Spierig brothers film begins in less than two weeks.
