Source:Ryan Rotten

Pssst, I know I've just run a story about our Comic-Con photo gallery, but have you noticed the teaser art for Friday the 13th? Simple, but we suspect this was whipped up purely for marketing. Take a gander at more images here!

glad they are keeping the same look for the title!
over at Bloody-disgusting they got word that instead of a teaser, there will be "a two-minute clip that includes one scene and a montage of footage from the remake". EXCELLENT!! i'll take that over a teaser! so good news Ryan!!

Now this time, they should add a killer music soundtrack with lots of cool heavy metal guitars and drum beats.

Posted by: cory on July 23, 2008 at 18:22:37

that music sucks.

Posted by: Jaredo on July 23, 2008 at 18:40:00

i agree that music would be so dumb

count me in too. no offense MovieExpert, but i hate that idea. i'd be VERY happy having Harry Manfredini's AWESOME score again. or his music w/ a variation on it(?). also, if there is a scene in the movie w/ the people listening to music, PLEASE make it a non-descript, unknown, background song from an unknown band. that's all we DON'T need is Friday the 13th the soundtrack (w/ tracks by ...insert band of the moment here!).

I doubt they get Manfredini back to score this film.

can anybody tell me whats going on with jurassic park 4

Posted by: Pane on July 23, 2008 at 20:29:02

Yes, Bishop Chan. Jurassic Park 4 features Jason killing all the dinosaurs.

Posted by: HorrorKing97 on July 23, 2008 at 20:57:20

How about Graeme Revell be the composer of the music in this film since it seems like Harry Manfredini may not be coming back to score this one?

That sounds like a good crossover, jason meets the dinosaurs hehe, Jurassic The 13th.

And yeah i agree with everybody else, no more metal music for horror movies, they should just keep it old school with this one.

I dont know ''99 ways to die''by megadeth would be pretty sweet for the teaser.

Posted by: iknowbest on July 23, 2008 at 22:53:02

Yeah, a track from the upcoming Metallica album would be sweet. Let's throw in some Linkin Park for good measures.

Posted by: j on July 23, 2008 at 23:20:26

Yeah thats if their new albums any good, after the black album they've gotten pretty bad, i hope they return to their form.

that's just a sign there!

I actually listen' to metal ... STILL i think that metal would not fit this movie ... it fitted jason vs freddy pretty well but not tjis one .. this one is supposed to scare ... give me some scary as **** music !! ohh and btw ... linkin park are NOT metal ... :p

Posted by: MovieExpert on July 24, 2008 at 06:26:07

Yeah, they could invite different metal bands and hip-hop bands to make crossovers like in the movie "Trespass", that would be awesome!
Jason makes a kill with a Cypress Hill and Slayer crossover in the background. Jason lurking around a camp with 50 Cents and Anthrax crossover! Sweet!!!

That is truly cool and music is great as well.
