The odds are not looking good for one race in 20th Century Fox's growing galactic battle royale. Shock has received word that the studio's sequel to Alien vs. Predator is now being called Aliens vs. Predator.

A few weeks back it was rumored the subtitle "No Peace on Earth" would be used, but that appears to have been dropped (or it could simply be a tagline).

The new moniker now accurately resembles what was used for the popular Dark Horse comic book, where this mash-up all began. And it suggests there is a sole Predator against a swarm of xenomorphs. Poor sucker.

Aliens vs. Predator strikes on December 25th.
