great to see this much underrated cultclassic finally get the recignition it deserves i own the widesreen edition which has been avalablre in my country greatbritain for the last few years also its very unfortuinate .that the guy who directed this cult item tom frightnight holland wont provide us whihe a commentry r track/but i wll double dip

this movie was never underrated it was a smash at the box office and was actually a critical success back in 1988.

you mean deadly friend the one where the chick decapitates the old lady with the basketball yeah i got that one, no special features though, its in regional one, and if you have anyother regional copies buy the dvd shrink program and burn it to a blank dvd and that suld fix the regional thing.

ijust finished viewing wes cravens deadly freind and ihave to say its one of cravens finest movies it was made in 1981 it also starres michael /hills have eyes beryymen and it comes highly recommendid its can be purchased on play uk .com.

It might be the same art as the hologram slip, but that isn't the artwork that the cover actually has. I'm personally glad they chose this cover. It's scary as hell. All in all, this release is amazing. Let's hope that Universal will follow suit in the next few years with 20th Anniversary editions of Child's Play 2 & 3.

i was talking about deadly blessing which i own on region2 and in widesreen its still very scary and atmostpheric and holds up pretty well for a movie that over 25years old.
