I liked the the three movies, I just wish they would have ended it at three. If you were going to make more, do it with a new lead. Someone else from the games.

Leon was killed before the movie, it was in a promo or something that was in a newspaper thing about Jill. I think they should leave Alice alone and add in Rebecca and Chris as well as keep Ali aka Claire in the movies, and have a 3 new movies about her and Chris.

Why god these films are ****in terrible not only are they rubbish adaptations to the games that have NOTHING to do with them, but they are also the worst set of Zombie movies I`ve ever seen, go watch 28 days later if you want a good zombie flick

I'm a fan of the films. Granted they really got away from the game, but any adaptation of video games into movies does. But at least RE's have been exciting and entertaining. But i got chills at the end of Extinction when i saw all those Alice's. Go for 4 and go big... i mean really big... i want 20,000 Milla's all at once marching like an army... LOTR style!!!

I think the 1st and 3rd were better than 2nd. I thought they could've done a btter script doing fourth with Milla Jovovich installmaent is just enough. I believe it is time to add a new character to the scene. Remember the Gun, Time Crisis version game of RE? I think they should add that character w/ a kick ass Japanese actress. I believe they should name the new movie "The new Beginning" or "RE: Biohazard". Or whatever.

I hope it's actually based on the game, not some crappy adaption with nothing to do with the games. Resident Evil 4 has a great plot that would make a great film and was the best game thus far, but Resident Evil 5 will be the best game ever! I won't go to the movies to see this unless it is based on the game, even loosely. I'll wait 'til the DVD, if that's the case, because I can turn it off and only paid half the price to see it. Other than that I'll be waiting for an ACTUAL Resident Evil GAME movie, and the best game ever. Resident Evil took my love of games to a whole new level, and these movies shouldn't even have the name Resident Evil on them, because they have nothing to do with it besides Umbrella, zombies, Racoon City, and sad excuses for Jill, Wesker, and zombies, and they are not up to par with the games, that have better plots and storytelling!!!!!

P.S. - I heard that they were actually making a film based on Resident Evil 4, starring Jensen Ackles, from Supernatural, one of the best shows on TV, as Leon S. Kennedy himself. That would be BA, and I can't wait to see it announced, possibly at Comi-Con!

i heard from my sources that Jensen Ackles will and he wants to play Leon S. Kennedy in the fourth film.

you may know Jensen Ackles from his leading role of Dean Winchester in the Supernatural.

He is currently filming My Bloody Valentine 3D.

I couldn't even finish watching the 3rd film, it was that terrible... But then again, none of them have been that good in the series.

If they do make a 4th film, they should have Leon S. Kennedy in it, using either the Resident Evil 4 game as a model for it and have nothing to do with the other three films; or use the Resident Evil 2 story and keep Ali Larter in it as Claire but keep Milla Jovovich out of it. Nothing against her as an actress, but I think that her character is what is separating the games from the film, which is also stopping it from earning way more money.

The Resident Evil Game Franchise is a survival horror masterpiece which thrives on its camera angles and lighting. There are clues and puzzles to be solved in order to escape and discover the truth.
The film series has none of this, it's just lots of action, and it's not even good Michael Bay type action, just horrible movies.

i agree w/ themoviegod. i'd love to see Jensen Ackles play Leon and have him & Alice (and even Ali/Chris) be the stars. also, i couldn't sworn a while back that Anderson said he thought it would be cool to bring the action to Alaska. "zombies in the snow" or something like that he said. i love that idea. it would be something different at least. oh, DEFINITELY keep Milla as the star. i LOVE her.

This was released before the second RE movie. It has the background of Jill and it explained that Leon was killed. This may not canon for the movies since she has never said Leon is dead or whatever so he could be alive. So Raymond I think you should research before you start to post. You know what I'd love to see? I'd love to see a surprise reveal that Rain (Michelle Rodriguez) was brought back to life by Umbrella and is now just as super-human as Alice but has since escaped. The two discover each other, team up, and take out Umbrella once and for all.

No stupid nobody actors, no cheesy lines, no big casts, just Milla and Michelle finishing this franchise up the way it started and sending it into the record books. THAT would be ****ing awesome.

Looking forward to the fourth installment. Will be interesting how they are going to pull off the army of Alice clones. Just imagine hundreds of hot milla's lol. If that is the case the production budget would haven't be at least $70 million for the effects and CGI and so on.
