Odette Yustman Talks The Unborn

Cloverfield cutie Odette Yustman next stars in David Goyer's The Unborn. Joined by co-stars Gary Oldman, Cam Gigandet and Meagan Good, Yustman plays a young woman haunted by the soul of a boy who died in the Holocaust.

"There are so many elements to this film," Yustman tells us Tuesday night at the Saturn Awards. "There's the Holocaust, there's going back to the exorcisms... All of those elements make something so scary, so terrifying. But it's also a psychological thriller that really gets you thinking. For me that was really exciting to take on that on that character and to do something new and something different. To be genuinely terrified because I had to go through so many different things like bugs...it was crazy."

The actress says her character, Casey, suffers a slow possession. "It really challenged me because I had to wear these contact lenses throughout the whole movie and I never wear contacts."

The Unborn will get a 2009 release via Rogue Pictures.

Honestly, I don't care what movie she's in, I'd watch it. It warms my heart to see an actress really stoked about a horror movie and really getting it. *sigh* I wanna marry her when I grow up...

She was challenged because she had to wear contacts? I shudder to think what her life would've been like had she not been born a looker.
