So Starship Troopers is turning into mech warrior? Casper Van Dien...please move onto better things. Starship Troppers should have been left alone after the first one. After that, it's tanked IMO...

Actually, the book originally had the "mech warrior" suits. But the movies still suck

i won't defend the picture, but a least this one gonna have rico back, and that's good, yes is gonna be chessy, but with new intro of bug, that got me psight for.

The first sequel to the Verhoeven film sucked badly, now they make another and bring back Van Dien as Johnny Rico? My eyebrow is raised. It had better have some hard suits and bug violence, or it will suck like Oral Annie. A japanese anime of Starship Troopers was more faithful to he Heinlein book, yet hasn't been released in the U.S. Somebody needs to buy the rights already and release it here. The anime has hard suits vs bug action.

Is that a chick holding the gun or the guy that said "leave Britney Spears alone!!" Not even an incredibly talented actor like Casper can make this movie watchable;-) I think I may have to check out this Oral Annie movie that Stone Monkey is talking about. It probably has a better production value.

Hmmm... I just watched the trailer and it doesn't look all that bad. The first movie is a great guilty pleasure flick but the second one sucked. This looks to be more like the first, I have my hopes up.
