i went to see the happening last saturday and i was present during that previews. I enjoy watching previews. They all looked stupid except for this movie and Lakeview Terrace. What I am saying here is that Mirrors looks very frightening. I for one am gonna see it.

Jack Bauer vs. Ghosts. Is that even a competition? Bauer will come out winning everytime.

is just another spooky film, like anyother sharon stone film.

joe asylo-"is just another spooky film, like anyother sharon stone film."
What in God's name are you talking about? I'm not postive that you know.
Hills Have Eyes is nothing compared to Aja's first film High Tension. High Tension is the best slasher film since the 70s. Uncontested. It's sad that so many Americans have such a closed mind and choose to stay away from foreign film because the French and Spanish are getting strides ahead of the Japanese these days.

Very creepy and cool poster one sheet!! Look forward too this one, I liked both The Hills Have Eyes remake and High Tension. The poster does not remind me of a J-Horror film, not at all.

Wow based on the poster this film looks crazy! I'm excited

Oh, brother. Sutherland isn't that Jack Bauer guy, he's just the guy who got killed in Young Guns 2. Ghosts win by TKO in Round 1.

High Tension was cool until the end but the twist sucked human feces.
And doesn't it bother anyone else that Aja has the French audacity to claim "From the Director of The Hills Have Eyes"??? Last time I checked he simply RE-MADE the masterpiece by Wes Craven.
Is it true that Mirrors is a re-tool of Japanese flick In The Mirror??? My god, can't this guy come up with an idea to save his life?
Posted by: Wolverine on June 19, 2008 at 21:10:51
Actually its not a remake. At first it was going to be but I heard Aja say this is a orginal take.

Awful poster. AWFUL! With the imagery you have for a movie like this, THAT is the best they could come up with. How about a shot of the kid sitting in front of the mirror, looking back at you and the reflection is facing front, looking at you as well. Now THAT would be a poster for a movie called "Mirrors."
Pretty basic, but WAY more appropriate and creepy.
Posted by: Deviategurl on June 19, 2008 at 21:37:18
That would be too obvious Duke...I like this poster.

Jack Bauer is going to put an arse kickin' on those mirrors.

One of the scary posters i ever see latelly!!!!

I think it sucks that there's no Kiefer or any of the other actors on the poster.
At least Kiefer is very famous and he should be there.
Hollywood sucks, always the same faces over and over and if someone is not a brangelino or a scientology lunatic then no one cares to have him representing a movie.
That said, the movie should be really good. Solid actors and finally a horror story not taking place in a hunted house.

snoozeville-"And doesn't it bother anyone else that Aja has the French audacity to claim "From the Director of The Hills Have Eyes"??? Last time I checked he simply RE-MADE the masterpiece by Wes Craven. "
No, I'm not bothered at all. The original Hills Have Eyes left a lot to be desired. The acting wasn't there, the "inbreds" looked like normal people who hadn't showered or stepped inside a clothing store for 20 years. Aja's approach was far more twisted.
The film "Into The Mirror" was a Korean film. Korean. Films don't have to always be original to be amazing. Directors don't all write their material. Studios offer them films...they take a look-see and choose. High Tension was a good original piece. Stanley Kubrick, arguably the greatest director of all time, directed novel adaptation after adaptation. Even though his ideas weren't original he set a benchmark for filmmaking. So quit being such a tool unless you want to make the movies.

reminds me of bloody mary

Boring poster. The movie will be freakin' awesome though cuz Alex Aja rules. Evn if he hasn't done to many original films, High Tension was incredible and he made Hills Have Eyes 1000X better than the original.
Posted by: PPP on June 21, 2008 at 03:53:58
YEAH i love Alex Aja's movies...He made the hills have eyes and high tension sooooo damn scary that they are my favorite horror moviez up to date. Hope he keeps it up in this one. The poster is creepy!
