WHAT A CROCK...I HATE when you see a pretty good trailer in the theater w/something and then it never comes to your local theater! Saw this trailer weeks ago and thought it had potential for original horror. Probably won't come to Cleveland though, and I'm not into just buying DVDs blindly anymore- especially with the price of blu-ray! :( WHAH!

Too bad to hear that Lionsgate is taking the Weinstein Bros/"Rogue" route on this one,for hopefully it should do much better on its upcoming DVD release(considering the fanbase that both Clive Barker and Vinnie Jones have).

Steven Millan, i agree. Lionsgate IS taking the (oh so wonderful-not) Weinstein Bros method of releasing/promoting movies. i hope this comes to Seattle. i'm dying to see it. just like i was dying to see Rogue in the theater.

AAARRRGGGHHH! This sucks donkey balls (and not in a good way!) I was so psyched to see this in the theater. Maybe it'll get to Atlanta, maybe not ... that's not my point. This flick looks awesome, and should get a wide release. Who do you have to blow in Hollywood nowadays to get a solid, scary, HARD R-rated horror movie to the megaplex? I'm so sick of this watered-down PG-13 horror market! Direct-to-DVD is fine for most flicks, but come on, let's get a wider spectrum of films represented in the theaters, please!

real dumb... This was a story by a pro, that could have brought some class back to horror as far as good story telling... as opposed to that stupid "Saw" that's purely based on video game thrill ride bull****!

Shame on Lionsgate probably one of the better horror movies to come this year. Even Uwe Boll movies get more wide release than this.

My god, after all the anticipation of waiting for this film to hit the cinema it may not even make it that far. I have a pain in my right test*cle with this now. I have read all of clive barkers Books of Blood, and this is one of the ones that stands out the most.and after seen the trailer i couldnt believe my luck. now i'll have to wait even longer for the dvd to be released. Who do I need to contract a hit on to sort this out...........

Well... I was alllllllll excited to see this... Now I have to see if I get lucky to have the this movie play around me... I live in Chicago so the possibility is pretty good I suppose... But come on! It's Clive Barker!! Oh well still going to see this movie no matter what... I'll pick it up on DVD or Blu-Ray

WE NEED TO START A VIRAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN TO GET THIS MOVIE A WIDER RELEASE!!!
The Lionsgate decision is based purely on internal politics. The new president hates the old presidents' movies and is trying to "dump" all of them!
Remember: the only thing that will make these people change their minds is if they get the impression there is an undeniable HUNGER for this film from dedicated horror fans.
The one thing they cannot resist is the smell of BIG TIME PROFIT! It's the Hollywood life-blood!
There is currently a lot of internal pressure for a wider release of this film and FAN PRESSURE is needed to push this decision over the edge.
If you wish to see MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN in all its big screen glory at a THEATER near you, please email investor relations at Lionsgate at keasterling@lionsgate.com or call the main office at (310) 449-9200 and express your desire to see MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN get the release it deserves. BE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL! We don't want to piss them off, just tip them off as to how many fans out there REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see this film in theaters.
THIS MOVIE IS TOO IMPORTANT TO HORROR FANS TO LET IT GO STRAIGHT TO DVD!!!
Post this message everywhere you can on horror websites and spread the word ASAP! We need to start a movement FAST to have an effect!!!
long live the meat!!!

Well, apparently it's due to this one guy... Joe Drake... who just took over Lionsgate... Why don't all of us just email him directly. His email should be either JDrake@lionsgate.com or joe.drake@lionsgate.com
Let's all get this thing rolling.
