Both brothers bring their won something to the show and both are amazing actors. Without either one of them there would be no SPN so let us all just breath.

I am really excited aboutt he season 3 dvds this was an amazing season!

Ryan you're a ****ing idiot! I won't deny that Jared Padalecki is a great addition to the show, but nobody can deny that whenever Dean enters he steals the show everytime! Jensen Ackles is perfectly cast as Dean Winchester!! There is only 1 character that comes close to Dean's awesome-ness and that's Bobby!

i must admit, Jensen is awesome. he's (IMO) a better actor and he's amazingly talented in the funnier moments of the show (as well as dramatic moments, of course). they are both terrific!

As much as I am excited about the season 3 dvd set, there is something confusing me. Other sites have said that this is going to be a 4 disc set(one disc difference, whatever)and would cost about $40 bucks. I understand that the business is about money but come on, 60 bucks is a little outrageous for a 16 episode season caused by the writers strike. Make it $30 bucks at least. Is anyone as disgusted with the price as I am or is it just me?

I think the character of Dean has been very fleshed out over the series so far and the dynamic of the two brothers contrasted to each other create great characterization and make the show that much more watchable.

Okay, I got the big words out of the way. This the BEST show on tv and it's not because of just one actor but everyone in the show so far has brought something to the table that the audience can get something positive out of it. I think Sam, Dean, Bobby, Bella, Lillith...damn, there's too many to cout, but all of the characters create the world this show resides in and makes it the best show tv. That is all I have to say about that...

It is easily one of the best shows on TV. It delivers on so many levels, horror, comedy, action, drama, etc. Great acting, and great FX for a TV budget, can't wait for the DVD... and especially season 4.

Amazon lists Season 3 for $39, which is more like the cost should be for only 16 episodes in the season and a shiny Metallicar segment.

Just wish it was being released alot sooner.

This season was bad ass and I have been watching these since the pilot episode.This show does keep getting better.Jon,don't worry man,Sam will find away to bring him back.After all,these finalys are always screwed up and then come back good at the start of the next season.

Jensen playing Dean gives his best at all times, and rocks the show alongside Jared playing Sam! They are both phenomenal and outstanding in Supernatural.
Woot! For Season 3 on DVD! Bring on Season 4.
Finger's crossed, Dean and Sam will be played by Jensen and Jared throughout the entire making of this show. I don't think I could cope if they were replaced by other actors... I'd be lost without them.

Guys if you buy this at any Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or Target it'll be like $40 not $60. No TV show is that much lol. I bought the two previous seasons for $40. Also sometimes if you go buy them the first week they're released at Best Buy they usually come with an extra disc or something. When I bought the first season it came with some extra stuff and it was cheaper :)
