will they express their feeling?
Posted by: Nice! on April 28, 2008 at 23:17:29
Great, but where's the red hair. Scully's always had the red hair, why the long blond all of a sudden?
Plus they've already expressed their feelings in previous episodes, both verbally and physically. Its subtle but its there. But that pic looks to be going to a much higher level than previously seen in the series or the last film.
This flick is gonna be cool, I'll be there opening day.

The Mulder and Scully scene is worth the price of a ticket.
Posted by: Lsnake on April 29, 2008 at 02:35:40
She does look beautiful in that picture with the long hair.
Posted by: Limmic on April 29, 2008 at 06:10:15
Her hair isn't blond, the setting of the picture is just bright, her hair is still red in the movie. Maybe its a bit lighter red, but check out the other stills they released from the film, in darker settings it looks like good ol' Scully's hair.
Here's one from this site:

I can only imagine Mulder just asked Xzibit what this white stuff is all over the ground, we see him struggling to understand the question.

I'm suspicious of the M&S picture, I think it might be a promo to generate shippery debate rather than a shot from the movie itself..
They look a too posed, and I'm sure GA has darker hair in other pictures I've seen from the movie...

that's not blonde hair. that is red hair. it's just a lighter shade. in darker lit scenes her hair appears red. I'm sure we've all seen her with blonde hair and that's not blonde. the creators wouldn't mess that up. come on.

The pictures as well as the teaser poster look awesome. But what do all of you think the movie is about? We know that Mr. Carter stated that there are no aliens in this film. So I am guessing that due to the fact that Billy Connely plays a priest. I am guessing it has to do with the coming of the anti-christ. You know the whole end of the world theme.

Mulder and Scully are back in the thrilling novelization of the summer 2008 blockbuster movie based on the classic X-Files TV show! When a group of women are abducted in the wintry hills of rural Virginia, the only clues to their disappearance are the grotesque human remains that begin to turn up in snow banks along the highway. With officials desperate for any lead, a disgraced priest’s questionable “visions” send local police on a wild goose chase and straight to a bizarre secret medical experiment that may or may not be connected to the women’s disappearance. It’s a case right out of The X-Files. But the FBI closed down its investigations into the paranormal years ago. And the best team for the job is ex-agents Fox Mulder and Dr. Dana Scully, who have no desire to revisit their dark past. Still, the truth of these horrific crimes is out there somewhere...and it will take Mulder and Scully to find it!

I love, love, love the new M and S promo pic. I only hope that it will be part of the film, and not simply a publicity shot.
I'm really trying to remain spoiler-free, but here is what I've been able to piece together about the new film. Don't read this part, if you want to remain 100% spoiler-free, but having said that, I don't have much context for this stuff, so the film and its plot will still be a surprise for me!
Anyway, here is what I know (I think!):
1. Women go missing
2. Amanda Peet plays Special Agent Dakota Whitney, and she goes missing (yay!!)
3. Xzibit plays an FBI Agent.
4. Billy Connolly plays a priest of "dubious character."
5. The plot is something that they have never done on the TV show - so I suppose it can't be about werewolves, then!
6. There is lots of snow, and mountains
7. FBI helicopters abound!
8. A red case for carrying organs for transplant is involved.
9. Mulder climbs cliffs and does a lot of running.
10. Scully has a confrontation with someone.
11. Mulder and Scully kiss - maybe
12. Mulder's fishtank, complete with diver, is in the film.
13..There are several recognisable items, including, of course, the I Want to Believe poster in M's office, and the pencils in the ceiling.
14. William is mentioned
15. The film will be rated PG-13, but there will be lots of DVD extras, with lots of gore, because they filmed more than a PG version.
I think that's about all I know. Maybe not new information to most people, but I thought it would be nice to organise it.
Less than 3 months to go to find out how all this fits together! I can't wait!!

I didn't know that Amanda Peet's name was Dakota, or that she went missing (I'm gonna offer a big 'ol YAY!!!! myself). But I did know pretty much everything else you have listed. Nice job, by the way!

The wait will soon be over. In less than 86 days now, loyal fans of the greatest TV show in history will be rewarded with The Return of Mulder & Scully in X-Files:I Want To Believe. The Truth is still out there and only Mulder & Scully can find it! This definitely looks like Chris Carter & Frank Spotnitz took there time, and made one Very Scary stand alone movie. I'm so looking forward to it, but, I am kinda of ticked, that there will be NO Agent John Doggett & No Agent Monica Reyes. Although from what I've heard, A.D. Skinner will be in the film. I'm also hoping that Chris Carter will end the film with a lead into the third X-Files film. How this ending, or lead in? Two figures meeting secretly in the dark parking garage of the Watergate Hotel, as the camera closes in from a distance, that at first, you can't tell who these two men are, until one man lights a familar type of cigarette, and as the camera focuses on the man's hand lighting the cigarette, you can see a old silver lighter, with the enscription "Trust No One". Then as the camera pans up until everybody reconizes these two dark figures, both well known to X-Files fans, a certain Bounty Hunter & CGB Spender, long thought deceased...But How???? And Why??? The Alien Invasion is Coming!!! Dec 21, 2012. Then, Everything Dies!

After reading this story, and how they went on about Never covering the story content in the X-Files before, I have two words for everybody!.....BIG-FOOT?????
Posted by: Limmic on May 1, 2008 at 01:22:24
Big-foot sweet, that's one hot monster truck. But where is the mystery?
Posted by: LadyHitchihker on May 5, 2008 at 19:37:28
Mulder & Scully look so cute together!!!!!!
Posted by: Lauren on June 18, 2008 at 15:31:15
I love the pic. I like her hair long- it probably is the lighting that makes it look more strawberry blonde than a true "red" red. Being I have a few Irish cousins who are true red heads- the color in the pic looks a lot like theirs.
Sigh! 5 weeks and 2 days to go...it has been way too long. I was going into x-files withdrawl. I can't wait to see it!!!!!!
