The post/release of this film seems to be plagued with problems... reshuffles, name changes, release date changes, now possible direct to DVD release? (in Canada). Just release the movie, some of us are wanting to watch it... lol

I work at a movie theatre and we were recently told that this movie would most definitely not have a theatrical release and we were to remove all promotional materials. This was in Canada btw.

Next week, it's been renamed 'Tr.' And premiering on Sci-Fi Channel.
In a world where a 'Prom Night' remake opens at number one, I find it rather dispiriting that a previously unfilmed Clive Barker adaptation can be treated with this much disdain.

I can't believe this. Not only did they change the name of one of Clive Barker's most innovative and famous shorts stories, they are going not even going to give it a theatrical release. This is bull****, Prom Night got a theatrical release for heaven's sake! I'm pissed.

^^^Did you read the article?
(Unless you live in Canada, then I understand how you could be pissed.)

Horror Fans: Make an online petition for those idiots at Lionsgate!

Ryan - I'm referring not just to the film going DTV in Canada, but the way it's been treated in general, getting renamed and its release put back. What with this and Warners ditching 'Trick 'r Treat,' it's a really grating time for horror fans who want to see new, original, hard R material, rather than diluted PG-13 remakes.
