The wait is over. Third Rail Releasing, the newborn division of The Weinstein Company, rolls out Greg McLean's Rogue during a limited theatrical run on April 25th. ShockTillYouDrop.com exclusively received a list of the cities this nature-run-amok thriller is going to take a bite out of.

San Francisco
Dallas
Detroit
Atlanta
Houston
Tampa
Miami
Phoenix
Denver
San Diego

From the director of Wolf Creek, Rogue finds actors Michael Vartan and Radha Mitchell scrapping with a giant croc during a riverboat cruise. Shock spoke with McLean last year about the film, you can read that interview here. Stills and a look at the Australian one-sheet can be found in our gallery.

Keep it here for more Rogue goodies!

So this hasn't come out yet in the States?

When my brother and I went to see this, we stayed till the end of the credits and it showed a rarely-seen (by us at least) blue R-17 rating (obviously for the states). Now, The Weinstein Company are the distributors of the film but...

Yeah I'm confused.

The movie's good anyway, go see it people.

The only problem is McLean didn't have a target audience, characters kept switching from Australianisms like torch to flashlight and stuff. I'm like we don't speak like Americans. But the croc is cool.

I am now a diehard hater of the Weinstein Company. THIS is a CROC! Why are they even releasing it in the States if they are not including any major markets like New York, Chicago, LA, Washington DC? Makes no sense. It looks like this is an Aussie site - if so, why did you guys not show up in the theaters for this film? My impression is that this went into the decision about limited release or not releasing it in the States at all?
Thanks for any answers.

like.. it's not getting released even in LA? guess there is no promo involved for actors either. What a CROC! is right! Movie's almost 2yrs old.. and this is how they release it... ?
what an insult!

Amen, vik. I was looking forward to seeing Vartan on talk shows promoting it. Now I'm not even going to get to see the movie in a theater unless The Evil Empire (Weinstein) relents and goes wide-release. You're right - it's an insult to the people who made the movie and to the fans who have been waiting for 2 years to see it. This is not a B movie!

the Weinstein Company is THE worst. errr, them and Sony Screen Gems (and all their PG-13 crap). i've been dying to see Rogue forever. oh well i'll just have to watch it once it leaks online or just buy the DVD.

that movie should be released in pa. due of there is over 29.million croc fans so farther ado bring it over now. Also thats a good idea to make freddy vs jason 2, jaws 5, slither 2, remake prom night 2, fright night 3, & etc. because of 75% of the mid 80's and early 90's should be redone honestly. please remake demon 1, 2, 3, night of the demons 1, 2, 3 due of 85.1 million demon fans want to see that happen. hee haw from a redneck that knows more then normal people
