Evil Thinks Green, Drives a Hybrid

Source:Variety
March 29, 2008

One Missed Call didn't sink Eric Valette's career after all.

Up next for the director is Hybrid (not to be confused with the Myriad Pictures horror film of the same name). Voltage Pictures acquired foreign rights to the flick from Stallion Media.

Written by Neal Marshall Stevens (Thirteen Ghosts, Hellraiser: Deader), Hybrid finds a female mechanic in a Chicago police garage who spends a night of terror with a hybrid car.

Yes, a hybrid car.

The Resident Evil franchise's Oded Fehr and Shannon Beckner star. Shooting begins on the $10 million dollar film this week around Regina, Saskatchewan.

a savage, intelligent military vehicle built from the most evil parts of the most evil cars in all the world. The steering wheel from Hitler's staff car, the left-turn signal from Charles Manson's VW, the windshield wipers from that car that played Knight Rider. and Ed Begley Jr.'s electric motor, the most evil propulsion system ever conceived!
