Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the DVD release for
Cloverfield, the J.J. Abrams-produced monster flick that gobbled up all sorts of attention at the beginning of the year. PHE will release the disc on April 22nd. It will include an anamorphic widescreen transfer, an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track and the following bonus material...

Me too, KHW! I honestly think that should've been the theaterical ending since it surprises those who watch it with the revealation that the "monsters" have retained some of their humanity. Plus, for those annoyed or bored with the part where Robert Neville dies, this ambigious ending destroys any chance of deja vu with having him live, along with Anna and Ethan, where they go to Bethel, Vermont to the potential survivors' camp.

Well, Joe... An easter egg is a rare secret you can find in a disc. By simply pressing the enter button on a certain time, you'll be able to see a secret photo or video. Good luck searching for them!

I don't know if it's because i had so much anticipation for this movie, or if it's just that damn good. But this was the best friggen movie i've ever seen! SO lookin forward to this DVD and the sequels, and still figuring out everything about Clover and the Cloverfield universe :D... Anyone seen the manga's? They're cool, but WTF is up with the last panel in the 2nd one? (i can't read Japanese)

Im a Cloverfieldite (my name for fans) since the first trailer came out during transformers. I couldnt wait to see the movie, checked many websites to get some info and I loved the movie. Now I cant want for the dvd to come out.
